PROJECT OVERVIEW
Coyote BLUE, led by California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), expands access to college coursework and helps high school students prepare for postsecondary success. Through partnerships with school districts across the Inland Empire, the project creates opportunities for students to earn college credit, experience university-level learning, and build confidence before graduating from high school.
Through CSUSB’s High School University Program, Coyote BLUE coordinates dual enrollment courses across multiple academic disciplines. University faculty, program staff, and district partners work together to support course delivery and guide students through application, enrollment, and registration processes, helping them navigate their first college experiences.
Summer programming extends this work through college coursework, campus experiences, mentorship, and enrichment activities. Collaboration with Coyote PRIME combines dual enrollment with targeted mathematics and English support, strengthening foundational skills alongside opportunities to earn college credit.
By connecting early college access with academic support and university experiences, Coyote BLUE helps students see college as an attainable next step and strengthens equitable pathways from high school to higher education.
